So this is week 3 of my diet and so far I have lost 14 pounds. I am quite proud of myself. I haven't wrote in awhile, some things are going on right now in my life and I just haven't had tim to really update my progress. Things are going to be fine, just hit a rough spot and we are working on it. I dont want to go into detail because it's something that doesnt need to be public knowledge.
Anyways, I went to the nutrionist and got a diet plan and set goals and stuff, and also found out that I have post pardom depression. It's a mild case but it is affecting my life and my health. So an in home nurse came in and talked to me and things are much better after that. It really helped me to talk to someone who knows what I am feeling and what I am going through right now. The nutrionist also told me that I have some sort of eating disorder because I am always terrified to eat enough calories and when I am depressed I dont eat because it makes me sick, so my 14 pounds had a lot to do with me not eating for 2 days. I am back on the right track now though.
Today I am planning on doing yoga and cardio, and since its raining and stuff I am just going to stay in and work out since I dont really want to take the kids out in this since they are both starting to get sick. I will update soon!

January 7, 2010

Today was a good day. I did yoga this morning and then did my cardio, which in turn I lost a pound! Then I decided to clean the entire house so I was constantly moving that way I could burn some calories and I lost another pound! So today, I lost 2 pounds! My only problem is that I am not eating enough calories because I am terrified of going over and not seeing any results. So that is one thing I need to change for sure.

My starting weight was 182 and I am now 177.

Breakfast-Multigrain English Muffin
Lunch-Turkey wrap with Baked Layes
Snack-Fruit snacks
Dinner- Rye bread Grilled Cheese with Sweet Potatoe Fries.

January 6, 2010

Today I didn't do a workout. But I stayed under my calories and so far I have lost 4 pounds. I made the lowest calorie tacos I have ever made before and they were actually good. Never thought eating healthy actually tasted somewhat good.

January 5, 2010

Today I have done really good. I did my workout on the WII fit and it was mainly abs. I am definitely feeling it. I also have bronchitis so the doctor told me not to over exceed any excercise so that my chest doesn't get sore and stuff on top of the sickness. Needless to say, I worked out anyways. I weight myself today and I was 180, so I have lost 2 pounds so far. I have been counting my calories and it's working out in my favor.

For breakfast I eat: 1 cup of Multigrain Cheerios wit 1/2 cup fat free milk. 160 calories
Snack:Apple-40 calories or an Orange-80 calories
Lunch: Turkey wrap-110 calories with 15 baked layes
Snack: 100 calorie pack
Dinner-Grilled Chicken with Mrs. Dash seasoning and squash casserole..160 calories

20 minute workout. I am starting light with my workouts so that I can get my body used to it. Hopefully after a couple of weeks I will be able to do more.

So, I started my diet today. I have alloted myself 1,400 calories a day but I want to try and stay under that as much as possible. Today was also a friend of ours wedding, so of course they had tons of food that I obviously wouldn't be able to eat without going over my calorie intake. For the first time I think ever, I actually porportioned my meal. I didn' t get to work out because we stayed out of town, but as of now I have done pretty good.

My starting weight was 182. I didn't lose anything today.
My goal is 140. I think that is a good size and weight for my body. Hopefully I can stick with this and achieve my goal.
